Intel’s next-gen processors have been listed by a Ukrainian retailer, Telemart, earlier than expected. The retailer listed a range of ‘K’ series Raptor Lake Refresh processors, including the Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K, and Core i5-14600K. These models are unlocked and can be overclocked. The processors are rumored to be 200MHz faster than their predecessors for boost speed, with the exception of a few models that may have a 100MHz increase. The Core i7-14700K is expected to have an additional four efficiency cores, making it a strong contender for the best processor list.
Although these processors are not available for pre-order and have no pricing information, their appearance on the retailer's website suggests that Intel's on-sale date may be closer than anticipated. The rumored launch date for the 14th-gen processors is in October, with a mid-to-late timeframe during that month. The early listings could indicate that the next-gen models might arrive earlier in October. However, it's also possible that the retailer jumped the gun for publicity. Therefore, caution is advised when interpreting these listings.
The initial announcement of the Raptor Lake Refresh processors is expected at Intel's Innovation event on September 28. The non-K processors, which cannot be overclocked, are not expected until the beginning of next year.
