Arr, Burisma's scurvy dog, Devon Archer, parlayed with then-Secretary of State Kerry, mere weeks afore they sacked Shokin!

2023-08-27

Avast ye! 'Twas a fine day when Devon Archer, matey of Hunter Biden, didst parley with the fearsome Secretary of State, John Kerry, at the grand State Department. 'Twas in the year 2016, whilst they be servin' on the board of Burisma, a ship from Ukraine!

In a humorous tone, we present the news of Hunter Biden's former business partner and fellow Burisma board member, Devon Archer, meeting with then-Secretary of State John Kerry just weeks before the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma was fired in 2016. A State Department email revealed that Archer met with Kerry at the State Department in Washington, D.C., less than four weeks before the firing of former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. The email, released via the Freedom of Information Act, mentioned Archer's visit and the need for someone to meet and greet him. While it is unclear what Archer and Kerry discussed or whether Burisma was brought up, it is confirmed that "S" refers to Kerry.

At the time of this meeting, Archer and Hunter Biden had been on the Burisma board for about two years, and Joe Biden had recently made a trip to Ukraine where he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid if Ukrainian officials didn't fire Shokin, claiming he was too lenient on corruption. Shokin, in an interview with Fox News, claimed that he was fired because of his investigation into Burisma and that both Hunter Biden and Devon Archer would have been implicated in corrupt activities. The White House, on the other hand, has disputed these claims and stated that Shokin was fired for being too soft on corruption.

This meeting between Archer and Kerry is not the only instance where a Burisma board member met with a top State Department official. In 2015, Hunter Biden and then-Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken also had a meeting at the State Department. It seems that Burisma was making efforts to protect itself from investigations, as evidenced by the email exchanges between Hunter Biden, Archer, and Burisma executives discussing a lobbying firm's proposal to shut down any cases against Burisma's owner. Overall, these revelations add to the ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden's ties to Burisma and the potential influence peddling that took place.
