On a fine Friday, a bloke laden with pistols and extra gunpowder was caught red-handed, aye, for swashbuckling as a Yankee marshal at one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s electoral gatherings in fair Los Angeles. Avast ye, scallywag!
A man carrying loaded pistols and spare ammunition was apprehended for impersonating a U.S. marshal at one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign events in Los Angeles. Kennedy expressed his gratitude towards the security guards who quickly detained the individual. The man, who was wearing two shoulder holsters with loaded pistols and a U.S. Marshal badge, claimed to be a member of Kennedy's security detail. Armed members of the security team isolated the man until the LAPD arrived and made the arrest. Kennedy shared photos of the perpetrator, who was seen wearing a black shirt with the logo of "Emergency Medical Services". Kennedy, a Democrat who challenged President Biden in the primary, mentioned that he has not yet received Secret Service protection. He added that he hopes President Biden will grant him Secret Service protection and stated that he is the first presidential candidate in history to be denied this request by the White House. In July, Kennedy claimed that his request for Secret Service protection as a 2024 presidential candidate was rejected by the Biden administration. The site of the campaign event where the impersonator was arrested is located near the Ambassador Hotel, where Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1968.
