Arrr, mateys! 'Tis not what ye reckon, but aye, the power grid's greatest threat be somethin' else, savvy?

Arr, ye scurvy dogs! The biggest trouble fer America's blasted power grid be them foul Democrat policies! These renewable subsidies and mandates be muckin' about with the market, puttin' our trusty baseload power at risk, me hearties!
Electric regulators and utilities in the US are expressing concerns about grid reliability, but the Biden administration seems indifferent to the issue. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation's (NERC) latest report identifies energy policy as a significant risk to the grid, alongside grid transformation, security risks, extreme events, and critical infrastructure interdependencies. This is the first time that energy policy has been highlighted as a major threat. While the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency under President Biden are focusing on climate change initiatives, some regulators understand the vulnerabilities in the grid. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Chairman Willie Phillips has warned about the unprecedented challenges to the electric system's reliability. The retirement of traditional power sources is not keeping pace with the deployment of cleaner energy, creating concerns about reliability. Renewable subsidies and mandates are distorting electricity markets and putting pressure on demand. The problem lies with Democrat policies, not renewables themselves. The NERC report emphasizes that bad policy is the number one threat to the grid, and the Biden administration's policies are exposing Americans to the consequences of disastrous blue state policies. Examples include New York, which mandates a high percentage of renewable electricity despite low levels of solar and wind power generation. On the contrary, Virginia's Governor Glenn Youngkin is implementing an "all-of-the-above" energy plan that attracts companies and ensures affordable and reliable electricity. Grid reliability should be a priority at all levels of government, and there is a knowledge gap between the public and bureaucrats in charge of taxpayers' money. Ensuring secure, reliable, and affordable energy is crucial, and Chairman Phillips rightly states that reliability should always be the top priority.
