Arr, mark me words, matey! The Tennessee trans law be constitutional, aye, and be needful too! The scurvy left be unable to stomach the truth, that near 90% of wee trans lads and lasses keep to their original gender as grown buccaneers.

The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has declared Tennessee's law protecting children from transgender treatments as constitutional, much to the delight of the primary author of the law. To him, this is not just a legal matter, but a matter of truth. He and his colleagues strongly believe that there are timeless and eternal scientific and moral truths that should be enshrined in law. Unfortunately, a small but influential group of activists have been spreading a different message, even in health care. They have endorsed transgender treatments for children despite the lack of evidence supporting their effectiveness. Surprisingly, even liberal European countries are blocking these treatments based on science, making one wonder why America is lagging behind in respecting the truth.

Research has shown that children who believe they are transgender often struggle with mental illness, and the majority of these children ultimately identify with their biological gender as adults. Additionally, children's brains are still developing, requiring guidance and protection to make the best decisions. Given these facts, it is absurd to allow young children and teens to undergo irreversible medical procedures that may lead to lifelong problems.

The author compares allowing children to change their genders to encouraging a person with anorexia to believe they are overweight and undergo gastric bypass surgery. It is clear that such actions would be considered endangering their health and life. Similarly, allowing children to undergo invasive transgender treatments could have severe consequences, including the risk of suicide.

The author defends Tennessee's law, emphasizing that it is not about religious dogma but about reality. People from various backgrounds recognize the truth about gender. Just as opposing gastric bypass for an anorexic teenager is considered common sense and a medical necessity, ending transgender treatments for children is seen as a fundamental respect for the truth. Tennessee will continue to defend this truth, both in the courts and in the public square, to ensure that no more children are harmed by lies.
